Marit Bouwmeester is not only the most successful female sailor of all time, but also an inspiring mother to her daughter, Jessie Mae. With four Olympic medals – silver in London 2012, gold in Rio 2016, bronze in Tokyo 2021, and another gold in Paris 2024 – she has made history. On top of that, she has been crowned world champion four times and European champion five times in the Laser Radial class.

Today, Marit channels her passion and knowledge as a keynote speaker at Better Minds. She combines evidence-based insights with her extensive experience as a top-level athlete. Together with Professor Nico W. van Yperen, she is currently putting the finishing touches on her first book, which brings together sports psychology and her personal journey.

Her mission? To inspire others to develop mental strength and get the best out of themselves and their teams.
