Erik Franck

Erik Franck strengthens leaders and teams at Better Minds through coaching and keynotes on professional wellbeing, burn-out, sleep quality, resilient communication and coaching leadership. He brings sharp insights, practical tools and a no-nonsense approach that gets organisations moving.

Erik is a psychologist and cognitive behavioural therapist, trained at Ghent University, and an accredited supervisor with the Flemish Association for Behaviour Therapy. He has been working as a clinical psychologist since 2003, with deep expertise in burn-out and sleep issues.

He is also a part-time Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Antwerp, where he teaches people management to doctors and nurses. In this role, he connects theory with the complex reality of the healthcare sector. Erik is also the author of Als je niets verandert, verandert er niets, a book that captures his pragmatic and human-focused vision.

In short, Erik bridges science and practice and helps organisations build mentally stronger work cultures.

"Erik speaks knowledgeably and brings in very recognisable real-life examples, allowing the information and tips to be taken back to the team. Concrete, relevant and inspiring. You are taken through the current knowledge on leadership and connecting communication and it encourages self-reflection and provides concrete tools for development actions."

"Erik Franck is the trainer of excellence to put your executives through a deep dive of personal leadership. His coaching is personal, full of methods that find their basis in science and translates this adequately to healthcare each time. Moreover, Erik is a fine human being with a genuine curiosity about the person behind the client and will invariably give his best, and that with his own authenticity. Highly recommended in any organization wishing to take leadership to the next level!"

"At the Emmaus symposium 'The power of attention: increase resilience - prevent burnout', Erik Franck captivates the audience, both with his keynote 'The four levers of personal leadership' and in the interactive workshop 'Resilient teamwork'. He combines his academic background and scientific knowledge with recognisable real-life situations. All this in a fluent language, at a brisk pace and seasoned with humour. The ideal mix for an inspiring story that sticks: participants learn a lot about themselves, their colleagues and their organisation. And you can use the insights at home too :-)."
